- After graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point I served in the Republic of South Korea on the demilitarized zone (DMZ) as a platoon leader, Aide de Camp and Rifle Company Commander.
- Earned the General Douglas MacArthur Foundation Leadership Award - one of 15 Army Captains to win this award.
- Following my tour in Korea, I served in the 75th Ranger Regiment where I had the opportunity to provide creative leadership to the Army's most elite special operations unit which required identifying unorthodox solutions to problems in rapidly changing environments in combat as well as peace time.
- Served in combat with the 3d Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment during Operation Just Cause - the combat parachute assault into Rio hato Panama
- Transitioned to Army Reserve Officer Corps in 1991. Served as a Mobilization Officer and Headquarter's Commandant during Desert Storm in the 86th USARCOM

- Directed troubleshooting of water treatment and energy systems in heavy industrial markets (primary metals, nuclear and coal fired utilities, paper, refining and petrochemical).
- Developed solutions to customer problems while leading sales teams to exceed growth targets.
- Six time Council of Professionals Award winner as a sales rep for exceeding sales and profit growth targets
- Earned Winner's Circle Recognition as District Manager of the Year twice
- P&L responsibility for a $60 million business unit as a sales manager serving the utility, refining, pulp and paper, primary metals and petrochemical industries.

- Complete P&L responsibility for a $300 million business unit serving the refining and petrochemical industries in Europe (incl Russia), Africa and the Middle East while living in The Netherlands and Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Turned an under performing $300 million EMEA operation with a 5 year CAGR of 3.4% and EBITDA growth of less than 1% to sustained revenue growth of 8% and EBITDA growth of 9%. Achieved this in a challenging economic environment where $30 million in the portfolio was shut down throughout Europe.
- 75% success rate on CAPEX sales campaigns. Expanded Middle East penetration into Qatar, Bahrain, UAE and Kuwait.

- Despite downturn in oil and gas space, drove a YOY increase in operating income with $55 million in competitive market share capture.
- Shifted eastern hemisphere five year revenue CAGR to 10.4% and operating income to 11.9%, 8 times the industry growth rate (McKinsey estimate)
- Serve as director on multiple JVs in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Japan
- Provides executive leadership and budget oversight for the Energy Services Downstream Global Corporate Accounts team. Owns the growth portfolio. Responsible for 719 of the 947 sites we serve globally. Responsible for retention and growth of 80% of Downstream portfolio delivering $144M in operating income on an annualized basis.
